Aggie bakes from her registered home kitchen in Marlborough, Wiltshire. She delivers to Marlborough and surrounding areas including Pewsey, Ramsbury, Hungerford, Devizes and Newbury, and orders can be collected by arrangement.
Who is Aggie?
Aggie is a Hungarian-born baker with forty years of experience. She learned to bake from her mother and grandmother in Hungary and has spent decades teaching herself and refining techniques from Hungarian, French and British baking.
What is your most popular cake?
The carrot and walnut cake: moist spiced sponge with fresh carrot and toasted walnuts, whipped cream cheese frosting, orange zest, cinnamon and walnut halves around the side.
Do you make Hungarian cakes?
Yes. Aggie bakes Dobos torte and Eszterházy torte. Please allow five days' notice.
Do you supply restaurants, cafés and hotels?
Yes. Aggie supplies fresh handmade cakes to trade customers across Wiltshire and West Berkshire, with labelled allergen information and standing weekly orders. Request the trade price list through the contact page.
How much notice do you need?
Three days for menu cakes, five days for Hungarian classics and two to three weeks for tiered cakes. Trade customers can change standing orders with 48 hours' notice.
Are your cakes organic?
Aggie uses high-quality ingredients including butter and free-range eggs. The cakes are not certified organic, so they are not sold as organic.

Aggie's kitchen uses wheat flour and nuts every day, so she cannot guarantee any cake is free from them. Please talk to her about your needs before ordering.
